I am now practising again at my premises and doing home visits following the guidelines of the British Acupuncture Council.
My premises are fully COVID-19 compliant and disinfected before and after each treatment and I wear a fluid-retentive face mask and safety apron during treatment. Patients are requested to bring their own face mask and a towel/blanket to cover themselves and to use antibacterial hand wash before treatment.
For home visits I wear a face mask and patients are requested to provide their own mask.

Meet Caroline
Caroline is a passionate and dedicated practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in traditional Chinese acupuncture and therapeutic massage. Caroline works not only by listening to the presenting complaint but by listening to the pulses and using needles to balance, harmonise and strengthen the qi (energy) to enhance mind, body and spirit. Caroline practices in a highly individualised way; she may have five patients presenting with the same condition but treat each of them very differently in response to reading the pulse, tongue diagnosis and taking their clinical history. Therapeutic massage formed part of Caroline’s acupuncture training and is used alone and in combination with acupuncture in line with the needs and preferences of the patient.

I have been treated by Caroline regularly for over 3 years and this helps to maintain my health while working long hours as an NHS doctor. Acupuncture & Therapeutic Massage
Caroline practices from her bespoke ground floor treatment room in her home and conducts home visits. Each acupuncture or therapeutic massage session lasts around one hour and is tailored to the needs of the patient. Caroline remains with the patient throughout treatment, obtaining a full case history, taking the pulses to assess the qi and using tongue diagnosis with the aim of not only treating the presenting complaint but working on the root cause of the condition. The needles that are inserted into acupuncture points are single use, disposable and as thin as a hair. Caroline also uses therapeutic massage alone or in conjunction with acupuncture.
